Terms of Use
These owner-review draft terms govern the waitlist and any invitation-only test access offered by Dage Electronics Pty Ltd.
Early access
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or a launch date. Private test access may be limited, changed, suspended, or withdrawn while the service is developed. Public subscriptions and paid plans are not yet offered, and no purchase is created by joining the waitlist.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, evade limits, upload unlawful or harmful material, infringe another person’s rights, or use automated methods to scrape or overload it. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping access credentials secure.
AI and learning limitations
Chabu is a practice tool, not a teacher, translator of record, medical service, or source of legal, financial, or other professional advice. AI-generated explanations, transcripts, translations, pronunciation feedback, and cultural guidance may be incomplete or wrong. Check important information independently.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited permission to host, transmit, process, and adapt it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You must have the right to submit that content. We retain rights in the service, brand, software, design, and materials we provide.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as available” basis during testing. Features may fail, produce unexpected results, or change without notice. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular learning outcome, or that all errors will be corrected.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to protect users or the service, comply with law, respond to misuse, or end a test. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive.
Governing terms and contact
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded. These terms will be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the final dispute forum will be confirmed after owner review. Questions may be sent to chabuapp@gmail.com.
